  • I agree this case is one of grave injustice. It sounds as if the woman's home was condemned for being in bad condition and that is why HUD took over. No doubt the bank is concerned about the "appraisal value" of the house because of the needed repairs and cleaning.

  • I too thought of the machinations of Nazi Germany. I appreciate Cathy Gressler's comment about dance therapy. My daughter recovered from a breakdown by resuming dance lessons since performing the learned routines helped organize her mind.

  • The family probably kept paying the premiums in the hope Natalee would be found alive. If the insurance policy was canceled and she then was found alive, a new policy would cost more because she would be in an older age bracket.

  • I disagree with most of the comments on this site, and I do agree with Iris and with 1surrviivor. I believe Iris is right in saying many 15-year-olds are lacking in mental and emotional maturity, and I agree that it was terribly wrong of adult policemen to kill a child.

  • I saw the interview of this young woman on the "Dr. Drew" program, and I heard her tell four different stories of what happened. The first is that she did not know the intruders.

  • The ashes were collected in a paper bag and left in the mudroom of the home. The hot ashes ignited the bag, and the fire spread throughout the house. The grandfather fell through the porch roof because it had been weakened by the fire.

  • I believe you mean "smoldering" ashes. I only hope people have learned something from this tragedy. The ashes should have been put in a metal container away from any combustibles outdoors and then doused thoroughly with water to eliminate any possibility of fire.

  • There were so many unanswered questions in the death of little Caylee Anthony, and I still believe the prosecution had very little evidence to point toward any definite suspect. I really cannot blame the jurors for finding Casey not guilty. For another matter, Ms.
